- This operation is performed in the hospital, under general anesthesia.
- Operation lasts about 5 hours.
- Patient doesn’t have to stay overnight in the hospital.
- Covered bandage is renewed for 3 days, meanwhile the patient can wear a beret or hood over the bandage and resume normal life.
- The bandage is removed on the 4. day, patient can take a flight and after a week can have a shower.
