BLEACHING
It is the process of removing the colouring formed on the teeth. The two methods used are; Cleaning and polishing is the cleaning process of the teeth by polishing them after the discolouring of the enamel caused by residue (smoking, tea, coffee, etc.,) and the tarter (dental stones) is removed. Bleaching is the whitening of the structural colour of teeth. Two methods used fort his process are classified as home and office bleaching. Home Bleaching: Thin plastic molds are prepared to be mounted on the patient’s teeth according to the measurements taken. The patient applies the specific whitening agent placed in this specially prepared mold minimum 6 to 8 hours a day. Treatment lasts 1 to 2 weeks depending on the case.

*The teeth are covered with a special protector.
*Light source is used.
*Can have a result immediately.
*Number of sessions depend on the case.
During and after the process it is important: To use a protector against any teeth sensitivity in some cases and tos tay away from food and drinks containing colouring agents for 7 to 10 days.
